Case study: How many different AIs live in a virtual assistant?
For the past 5 years we’ve grown fond of help that we get from virtual assistants at home and over the course of our everyday life. In my speech I’ll cover the way such products work with the example of Alice and how hardware can enhance the abilities of assistants.
Denis Ozornin
Denis joined Yandex in 2009. He was at the origins of the creation of Yandex School of Data Analysis and was engaged in the development of a search robot. In 2012, he switched to project management. He launched a b2b product for monitoring social networks and a hotel booking service that was integrated into Yandex Search and Yandex Travel.
In 2020, he joined Alice’s team, where he developed personal audio recommendations and taught Alice how to communicate with children. Since 2021, he has been responsible for Alice in smart speakers, and since 2023 – for the virtual assistant in general.
He graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the School of Data Analysis.
